Jill Kramer

Senior fellow

Jill Robinson Kramer, PhD, is principal consultant at JRK Consulting in Indianapolis. In her consulting work, she focuses on strategic planning, network and meeting facilitation, grant facilitation and development, and metrics and outcome reporting. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Marian University in the master’s of education program.

 Kramer previously served as Vice President for Operation Strategies at Strada Education Network where she focused on strategic planning, social impact reporting, and standing up a fundraising shared service. As Associate Vice President for Planning and Grants at Ivy Tech Community College, Kramer conducted strategic planning and provided management oversight for the grants and institutional research departments at one of the nation’s largest community college systems. And Senior Program Officer at Lumina Foundation for Education for more than a decade, she made and managed a portfolio of education and civic grants that exceeded $26 million. Jill is working with the Gardner Institute on the Blueprinting process for the Intermediaries for Scale, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Kramer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Spanish from Hanover College, a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University, and a PhD in Education Leadership from Indiana State University.

Among her civic activities, Kramer is a board member for the Goodwill Education Initiatives for Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana and the Indiana Charter School Board. She proudly wears the titles baseball mom, swim mom, and robotics mom.  She also volunteers time with Me & Korea, church, school, and with the kids’ teams and clubs.

She and her husband Ray have two children and live in Indianapolis with their two dogs. Kramer enjoys traveling, cooking, and attending sporting events (for her kids and the Pacers and Colts).
